Product Description

Methacrylic Acid Copolymer L-30D is formed by the aqueous dispersion of a copolymer which is anionic in nature and based on methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate. The approx. molar mass of the compound is 320000 grams per mol according to the size-exclusion chromatography method. It is a white coloured powder with a characteristic odor and is miscible in water to give a milky-white low viscosity solution. Methacrylic Acid Copolymer L-30D has a pH value in between 2.1 to 3 which makes it strong acidic in nature. It is widely used to provide delayed release coating for drug delivery in the duodenum.
